Ilford HP5 Plus 400 - 35mm Black and White Film

Ilford HP5 Plus 400 is the classic black and white film. It's got a wide exposure latitude, making it a great first film to try black and white photography with. 

Great for: 
- General purpose black and white photography. It's good at everything! 
-  400 ISO means you can shoot in relatively low light, in the evenings and around sunset. 
- Pushing to higher ISO for night time shoots 
- Lower contrast means that it's great for printing, and getting the precise look you want in the darkroom. 

Watch out for: 
- HP5 can give a relatively low contrast look right out of the box, so you might need to edit your scans, or ask us to punch up the contrast!
